Wisdom Free

Ugh. Well, I’m down 4 teeth since this time yesterday morning.

I’m so thankful and blessed that I didn’t have to miss any work for this surgery. Our district is on Spring Break through Monday, so I won’t be missing any work.

Yesterday was pretty boring. After surgery Matt stopped at Walgreens (while I waited drugged up in the car) to get my meds, Gatorade, and ice packs. Fiance of the year, for sure.

We came home and he helped set me up on the couch – Jell-o, Netflix, computer, water, Gatorade, gauze, and ice packs for my face.

After several changes of gauze until my gums stopped bleeding, 1 bowlful of strawberry Jell-o, 1 pain pill, and several episodes of One Tree Hill on Netflix, I was feeling pretty good.

Matt even boiled me some eggs – and he absolutely hates eggs when they still look like themselves. They were delicious.

This morning I woke up feeling pretty good. I was expecting the pain to be so, so much worse.  The fact that three of the four teeth were already broken through my gums probably helped it not be so severe.

Breakfast this morning was 2 hardboiled eggs and some pancakes. Yum.

On the to-do list for today? Laundry. Lots of laundry. I’m also going to try and finish up my DIY table numbers for the wedding, and maybe start numbering my RSVP cards.

I’ll probably watch a lot of TV, too. Yesterday included about 6 episodes of One Tree Hill (season 4) and Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 (don’t judge). Breaking Dawn was…interesting. The birth scenes were super creepy and gross. That’s all I’ll say about it.

I don’t really have much else to say. I think it’s time to get started on some projects for the day. I can’t spend all my spring break sitting on the couch (probably).

Have a great Thursday!
